This is Kevin's first buck! he was the one holding his dad's buck on friday, but you can tell the difference in his smile when he is holding his own. it's a nine point about 16.5" wide. nice first buck.

by the way, i'm not the one who shot him, my friend that got the picture of him got him. i'm just posting it for him. sorry i didn't make that clear earlier.

season aint over yet. we are allowed two bucks here in MD with muzzleloder, two with bow and two more with gun.

it was only a 20 yard shot or so, but the deer hadn't completely cleared the limbs i guess. bullet struck one and put it a little far back. let him lay over night and went and found him this morning about 150 yards away.

Muzzleloader season started here in southern Maryland yesterday. a friend of mine got this one on camera back in july. waited until yesterday to hunt him. watched him for 15-20 minutes before he stepped out for a clear shot. gross scored him at 165 as an 8 point with a split G-2 and a sticker off opposite G-2.
