I have been shooting side lock muzzle loaders for twenty years and just recently switched to an inline for hunting. Not using 209's will result in an incomplete burn thus negating any possible chance of obtaining accuracy. Not to mention the possibility of damage to you're gun.

Not sure about youre kodiak but my 209 magnum likes 150 grains behind a 295 grain powerbelt. My brother and I both shoot 2 inch groups at 100 yards.

I am recovering from shoulder surgery (august 08) and have been told that I may not be able to pull my bow back with that arm anymore. Was wondering if anybody has had this same surgery (slap repair with reattached biceps muscle) and if they were able to return to bowhunting. Also I thought maybe switching to shooting left handed might be an option. Thanks in advance for any information.
