  1. I got a new bow this winter because my old one was just to small. I had thought about getting a new one for a couple months but then I knew that I would need a new one before next archery season. So I went to the bow shop and got the Bear Charge. After that I took it to the club and shot it. I love it and so does my sister. One good thing that comes out of this is I only need 1 pin to 15 yards. This is a picture of it.
  2. it was 5:00 in the morning when i got up. yesterday my dad went to try and roost a turkey. when he got in the field he saw 3 longbeards go right where we were going to go. when me and dad got ready we went were he saw them. it wasn't an hour before 2 longbeards came up over the hill. i was going to shoot the one that was strutting but the other one came in sight first.i lined it up and shot. i'm happy i shot this one because it has a 10 in beard 17 pounds and 3/4 inch spurs.i am happy with this bird but you take a look.
  3. I am so glad that my 8 point buck is back!!!!!!! Now that it is back i can look at it and rember the moment i lined the bow up and let go. My dad got it on saturday 4/10/10 and brought it home. I was so excited to see it on 4/13/10. Now that i have seen it it is nice and big.

  6. I got up early this morning at about 5:00. Today is PA youth turkey day. I got my camo on and went out and up into the woods behind the house with my dad. We sat doewn and waited for them to gobble. Then we put up a decoy and found a tree to sit by. Then I started seeing turkeys coming. My dad called them in. They came close and then circled around and went back. I couldn't get a shot. Then there were two more turkeys that came in. Dad called them all back and one had his head behind a tree. And then it moved its head out into an opening and I pulled the trigger. Then I saw flop flop flop flop. It was 23 yards. Here are some pictures.
  7. Right behind my house my pappy and I were cutting down Christmas trees when my pappy pointed out a nice shed so I showed it to my dad and he said it was big. We measured the points. The G1 was broke off to less than an inch. The G2 was 5 3/4" and the G3 was 6". We found it less than 100 yards from the house. He should be a nice one this year.
