1. nice bird. those decoys are sweet looking. what are they?
2. hey, i shot a jake the other day, it had a 4 inch beard so it was big for a jake but small for a tom. but instead of having the three middle feathers in the fan longer than the rest, the four middle feathers were shorter than the rest. has anyone seen this before and why is it like that? and the other picture is what i did with the feathers. i put them inside my truck on the ceiling.
3. Nice birds. you must have finally found some birds that werent as tough as those other two. :shifty:
4. Hey, I need advice on choosing between two stabilizers. I got a 5 inch Doinker Chubby Hunter and a 6 inch Carbon Express Ultra Shock stabilizer for Christmas. I am just wondering if anybody has either of these or have tried them out, and what kind of reviews you would give them. Thanks
5. wow! that looks almost exactly like the one that was hanging in the tree in my back yard in october. maybe its the same one. I havent seen a buck up there from you or my brother yet though. what's up with that?
6. i bought a trykon too. i haven't had a chance to hunt with it yet except for one carp i shot out of the river. i like it and so far it's shootin good. Good luck!
7. i guess i wouldn't have to wear the parka, i just thought i would try shooting with it on. and i could try tucking it in or rolling it under or something. i probably won't wear a t-shirt over it. i don't think i have one big enough. and i never thought about opening my stance up. maybe that will work. thanks
8. today i went out and shot my bow with my parka and gloves on because it was cold and so i could get the feel of shooting with my hunting equipment on. Almost every shot was about 6 inches to the left. I figured out that the collar on my parka was interfering with the string and arrow. so i tried zipping it up all the way and it still moved my shot way left, and it screwed up my anchor point. I couldn't figure out a way to wear my coat so it wouldn't touch the string or arrow. Do you guys have any ideas on what to wear or have any comments about it?
9. I'm looking to buy my first bow so i was checkin out the classifieds and there were two I'm interested in. One is a 2006 Hoyt Trykon with a NAP sizzor rest, Meta peep, STS (side mount for hoyt), and a 6 arrow quiver. It is $300 for the bare bow or $400 for the setup. The other is a 2007 Ross CR 334 with a Spot Hog sight, string dampner, and a drop away rest. This one is $450. I'm leanin toward the Hoyt but I wanted your guys' opinion on either of them. thanks.
10. Nice one. I wish missouri private land could be as successful as lincoln public land.
