  1. Got to agree with everyone else, always make sure you take care of the animal first because they deserve that amount of respect. Animals around here would have a hay day with that meat overnight even. Lesson learned!
  2. Thanks! Thanks for the responses everyone, this is the first really mature buck I've been able to take with a compound. I have been hunting deer since I was about 12 and have taken many with a shotgun. I have been bowhunting for about 10 years now and enjoy every minute of being outside in God's creation. What an awesome feeling to have a good buck actually play out the story like it should happen in your head!
  3. First of all this is the first post for me, although I've been reading for a couple years! Anyways, I have been enjoying bowhunting this year and took my time, passing up a lot of little guys. Finally, this past Friday I was fortunate enough to take this buck after he came in at 20 yds. for me. The Rage broadhead is amazing! It put a 3 inch entrance hole and 3 inch exit hole through the opposite side. He only went about 30 yards and piled up, I'm really proud of being so blessed to take this deer. I had about 5 minutes of shaking and thanking God after the shot! If anyone has any idea of a score of this buck, please let me know what you think!!
