Becareful if you are using Aero Vane II's I was using rage and found that my vanes created so much spin that it was activating the slip cam and opening early. I love the Rage's though huge blood and huge wounds.

I am shooting a Bear Showdown, 29"draw 70lbs about 286 FPS. THanks for the advice so far, I was worried about taking a broadhead to the finger but I shoot with a consistant grip and do not think I will have a problem there. The spine is more what I was worried about. Will I gain any accuracy with less arrow mass or is 3" of carbon shaft not enough to effect the flight?

I have a strange question. I am wrapping up my first archery season and I had a buddy give me 5 Carbon Express maxima hunters in trade for some vinyl work that I did for him. The arrows are about 3" shorter than the Rebels that I had been shooting. I slid the biscuit back to hold the arrow re tuned it and they shoot fine. Is there going to be a problem with me shooting too short of an arrow or will I be fine? Darrell

Long sory short my wife wanted a dog so I steered her twoard a Beagle Mix so that I could use the dog for tracking/shed hunting. Here is my problem she can find the sheds but she is terrified of them. I have an old shed at the house that I have been working with her and she will not pick it up. She is interested but if it moves at all she bolts. Any fixes for a scared shed dog?

Seeing deer The deer have been out feeding after the rut and with this ice crust we have down they are staying in the fields longer trying to rustle up some grub. They are hearding around here (Peoria Area)
