Don't know if this is the right spot to ask this question but figured I would try. I was wanting to get my deer mount appraised for an insurance policy but my insurance guy had no idea who to send me to. Called Cabela's, Bass Pro, a few local taxidermist, the official B&C measurer who measured my deer, and Boone and Crockett. Nobody could tell me anything but B&C and the closest guy they told me was in Denver Co. I live in Kansas City, Mo. If you guys no anybody in the state of Missouri or anybosy I could call to send me in the right direction your help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I am trying to find a Scent Blocker Realtree Roadtrips suit in Advantage Max 1 camo. Preferably XL jacket and L pants. If anybody has this that they would like to sell please let me know. I would love to have this for my elk hunts and didn't know they quit making it. Thank you.

I was a little off on the green score. His official B&C measurement is 212 3/8. 19" inside spread. and a total of 3 7/8 difference side to side.

Story Well my dad and I got into the stand late that afternoon about 3:45. We had been there about 30 min. when I looked to the east up the hill in the corn feild and there was a deer. Got the binocs out he was a scrubby 8. We were watching him and here come another deer 10 point this time, then another deer, doe, and another 10 point, then another doe. They were just feeding in the cut cornfield. We sat there and discussed about what to do and decided I should take one of the does. I was getting into position and we noticed they all kept looking back over their shoulders. That's when he came out. New game plan, I thought, there was no discusion, he was the one to take. so I put the crosshairs on him took a couple deep breaths and let my 7 mag bark. Down he went instantly. Luckiest shot I think I've ever made. Spine shot. 196 yards. 30 minutes in the stand. Done deal. Right spot, right time. Nobody had ever seen him before on our farm. Or at least said they hadn't, but it doesn't matter now cause he's goin to be hangin on my wall. HaHa.

Thank you. Yea I'm all for that point restriction it has really helped our deer on our farm anyway. I'm a barber by trtade and there are alot of guys that come in and they hate it. I try to convince them it's a good thing and now I can show them what can happen if they are patient and let the deer mature.
