And I still have no clothes. My husband is convienced that I will be fine in his, I just would rather wear my own. I went to both Cabellas and to Bass Pro today and they neither one had anything for women. Cabellas doesnt even carry anything for spring for women. And Bass Pro only had very heavy gear for deer season. I hate to say it but I was very disappointed. I still cant find anything. I dont want to buy a whole lot of stuff, especially since this is my first time. I even resorted to ebay and they didnt have much either. What a buzz kill..

whats the difference between regular hunting boots and snake bite resistant?? (besides the obvious)

we are going to be hunting down by rend lake. is there a certain kind of boot to gaurd against snakes??

My husband started hunting this past spring, but Ive been around hunters my entire life. Ive never been (no one would ever take me growing up) but my husband and uncle are taking me out turkey huntin in april. Im excited and cant wait but we are having a little disagreement. Since I have no gear myself yet, he says we should save the money and I can just wear some of his clothes. I told him no because id be uncomfortable, he still swears it will be fine. Looks like I will have to buy my own when he isnt around. since I have never been hunting a day in my life, does anyone have any pointers for me? Especially for turkey season and where to get the best deal for clothes??
