deerhunt

Hello all. Just wondering if anyone on here is from Western NC and has any information on the rut. I am hearing that its not in yet here. Also I have been hunting really hard and haven't seen many deer at all. Usually I see lots of deer this time or year and have seen one deer since gun season. Any advice or information on the rut is greatly appreciated. It's down to the wire, only this week left to hunt. Thank you in advance.
