  1. you have time ,probably go with a winter wheat or rye and you still have lots of time.Get a soil test done so you can ad lime /fert for next spring as lots of clover and brassicas need a good PH to grow well. You can start a clover plot now and it will be in good shape for spring green up as you wont have to fight the weeds as bad as a spring plant...
  2. We bought 3 17.5 ft stadium ladder stands fron big dog stands, these we the most difficult stand i have ever had the mis fortune to have to put together!!I have put over 100 stand togerther in my 20+ years deer hunting and never had issues lioke this.. On all 3 the straight arm from the foot platform to the first ladder wont work if you follow their directions. After the whole thing is done you have to go back and take apart the supports in the back and reverse them the make the holes line up (some what) we had to bend the legs on 1 of them to make it fit .Had several other bolt holes not line up,very poorly manufactured stands. And the directions completely suck...Contacted the company to see what they had to say obout the problems with putting the product together and all i got was SORRY, didnt seem to give a SH@#... SO MY 2 CENTS buy another brand !!!!!!! If THE SHIPPING WOULDN'T KILL ME I WOULD HAVE SENT ALL 3 BACK...

  10. Yep, shot a big one that shed in the second gun season two years ago was a 4 1/2 year old with a broken foot.I think it was the stress of the foot and the rut that caused him to loose them early.I should have saved the cape, but i never found the sheds....

  17. NO....I think we have to many gun seasons now,youth,1st,2nd, muzzleloader, and then the extended late season. You do that and your asking for an over kill, the numbers are off now.Now that you don't have to check your deer at the check station anymore there are lots of deer taken that don't get called in..From what i hear wisconsin screwed there deer head up with over kill ,i know a dozen guys that hunt up there and they all said deer numbers aare WAY down....Would hate to see that happen here.....
