Ted White & Son Zachary hit a double early today. Both had 11 1/2" Beards and 1" Spurs. Way to start a new season in North Carolina.

Have some Remington SPS Rifles and all are very accurate out of the box. Have a 308 and it is very accurate with 165 Gr Nosler Ballistic Tip bullets. Bought a Marlin XS7 243 some time ago and it is also accurate. I really like the SPS rifles.

7mm 08, Short Action or 25 06, Long Action, either are excellent Deer Calibers and both mild recoil.

Best powder that I have ever used, clean, accurate, but a little expensive, but I think that it is worth it.

I shoot 160 Gr. Nosler Accubonds over H1000 Powder, very accurate.

If I could not get another one, it would take a lot of $ to get mine.

Take her to a range, where they rent guns and let her shoot some different ones to find what she is comfortable with. I teach CCHP and so many times the husband buys the wife a gun that she is not comfortable with, and she will never like it. I had rather my wife have a 22 and be able to shoot it accurate, than to have a 44 Mag, and not be able to shoot it or when she does, not be able to hit her intended target.

Have 3 870's, 20Ga, 2-12's, an old Wingmaster that is chambered for 2 3/4 " shells and a 870 Super Mag in MOBU. Can't go wrong with an 870.

They are worth it.

Sometimes a fellow just needs to buy another gun.

Expect to get 10+ loads for my Bolt Action reloads.
