no, its the base of a big tree

if you are going to shoot #4 buck trough it use a modified choke good out to about 80 yards.

go with the 835 i have one and get a xxxfull comp-n-choke for it with winchester #6s or winchester double x magnums and any bird within 50 yards is going home with you. even the sstock choke is good with federal 3 1/2 flight controle.

I live in apalachin ny right by binghamton and around 1 hour from syracuse right by northern pa and have herd several birds in the last week.

I shot my 835 with the comp-n-choke today with winchester double x magnum 3 1/2 #6s I got 25 in the kill zone at 40 yards and I need to make a slite ajustment and I will get about 50 in the head at 40 yards my pattern is hitting low and to the left. So I am glade I got new trueglow ajustable sights from cabelas.

Remington said wingmaster hd is hot a hevi shot it is a high density shot like winchester xtended range.

I can not get a good pattern out of it it is an xxxfull choke .670 and I have shot winchester double x magnum 3 1/2 #6s 2 1/4oz and winchester #5s and xtended range 3 1/2 #5s what do you guys use. I have remington wingmaster hd 3 1/2 #6s but omp-n-choke said they were not good for the choke or barrle. Should I shoot them because they reccomend winchester extended range witch they are both 10% dencer than lead and 12g/cc harder. So why are they any different they both have round pellets to. I just dont under stand.
