Best #5 patterns I've seen from a 870 yet was with a Jellyhead .670 and Hevi13 #5 3.5" 2.25oz. If you're lookin #5 in Indian Creek, I'd lean towards the .675. .670 Kicks throws a nice pattern with Win XR, but Hevi13 beat it bad out of my gun.

I agree - and I've been scowering the net trying to find the forums where I read that and kind find them anywhere now...heck, maybe I dreamed it - lol.

Bang for the buck, Nikon is hard to beat.

Very poor reliability reports thus far - on par with the 870's of the past 10 years or so. In that price range, I would consider the original Nova or a Winchester SPX if you aren't hung up on 3.5" capability.

I seem to recall having read at some point that the pressure was causing accuracy issues with TCA Pro Hunter 7mm barrels - has anyone experienced this? I have recently picked up a PH and want to get a rifle barrel for it - I'm leaning towards 7mm, but if there's truth to this isse I'll go 300 instead. Thanks. Brent
