I've been running a couple cams over a fox den behind my house for a little while now. I've been getting some neat pics from the Primos, and some interesting vids off the Moultrie. I'm gonna try to set up here today with my handheld camera to try and capture a few family photos of the little rascals for the wall!

We're finally melting out enough that I was finally able to get out to scoop up 5 more. I just love this next little set! I've found them touching before, but I've never seen a set laying together so perfectly!

I'm a little late on this one, but I'll give an opinion anyhow. Over the past 20yrs, I've had no luck whatsoever with ANY boot surviving a winter of hiking for antlers.... zip, zero, zilch! A good year, I'll go through two pairs.., and a bad year, three or sometimes more. I've never found one I would buy again after 3-4 months of wear. Last fall (September) I picked up a pair of Lacrosse Aeroheads, and they have been a dream come true! No cracking, no leaking, and no "old boot" appearance after hiking in them through the toughest winter I can remember on record! I've tried other Lacrosse models in the past that never held up past the first two months, but these babies are still going strong now 7 months later, with daily use under some extreme conditions. If they sprung a leak today, I'd run right out and get another pair tomorrow without hesitation. These things have already got more mileage on them in a short time than some guys will put on a pair of boots throughout their entire hunting careers. I did have to add some gel-insoles as they are a little too flat footed and uncomfortable for extended hikes right out of the box, and I wish the tread design was a bit more aggressive. I'm not sure if they may only comes in one option there, but I can deal with that. Besides that, NO complaints in the durability department... NONE!

Mine usually gets to be pretty obvious, but that's the wrong answer, lol

Thanks guys! I've probably seen less than a handful of greys here... maybe 3 in the last 20yrs, and those were all spotted in fields while driving down the road. The reds are really common. I've got 3 active dens within a 1/2hr hike of home. I'll be checking up on them closer to May when the pups (kits) start poking their heads out. The yote population is pretty high from what I see on trail cams, but I rarely see them in person. I did run into quite a few this winter while shed hunting, but they don't stick around long for photo opps.

I've been seeing these guys all over the place lately. Watched 3 of them mousing around the edge of the corn field during yesterdays hike. This guy finally worked his way over towards me and gave me a few shots!

Awesome finds everyone! After being snowed in for the past two months, I was finally able to get out and scoop up a sweet set yesterday!

I got some video with sound last week with some jakes strutting and gobbling for the cam. That was a great sound to hear after this miserably long winter! Click on pic for 30 second clip.

I got to meet Turkeygirl this past fall, and Shed94 so far. We have an annual shed hunter get together at a local park with some friends from Shedsters other site. Great people and good fun!

Without boosting the pressure, you really wont notice any difference switching from the 40gal to the 80gal tank even with the relocation and additional 30' run length and elbows. I've run 2x's the square footage you're talking about with no noticeable issue with the 80. Your "poor pressure" will still be "poor pressure" but it wont necessarily become worse. Keep your hot water recirculating line 1/2" and make sure your main trunk lines are stepped up to 3/4" all the way to your furthest fixture before reducing at your connections. You can run a lot of units off a 3/4 line without much pressure loss as long as your pump can keep up. Not sure what size main feed you have coming in off your well...3/4"...1"? Sometimes if 1" will be reduced where it stubbs in before any fixture tie ins occur and can be the pressure robbing culprit right there. Just a few quick points I thought to throw at ya you may have already known. It's tough to say for sure without "seeing everything" first hand, but I'd be curious to hear how you make out when you get this project wrapped up. Good luck!

Yup- dead moose for me too no doubt about it. Only difference is the video would only have been released to support my innocence in court if it came to that. I'd edit out the part where I'm picking moose burger out of my sleds track after the shooting, lol

Great finds guys, congrats! That thing is a PIG hoytshooter! Nice to see you finally score one on home turf William!

....bad idea numb-nuts! I don't think I'd mess with a guy that chases natural disasters for a living, lol

Normaly I don't get many pics of post season winter bucks, but this year I've got quite a few still hanging around. Mostly yearlings, but that's cool with me. I think they may have gotten snowed in back in December when we got burried under 4ft of snow, and they never got the chance to leave like they usually do. I got pics of one antlered deer that is still in velvet as of the 2'nd week of January. I'm hoping to find those fuzzy antlers once we melt out a bit. Only one other buck really worth mentioning is a nice 10pt I call "Tubby", but I already picked up one of his horns!

Gotta say, Metallica can still rock! That was a pretty solid performance..., but speaking of gay, who the heck was that "pianist" they were playing with?

This is some pretty dangerous weather for anything that lives outside of a hole in the ground! It doesn't look like we'll be getting any January thaw this year. :bummed: Stay warm everybody!

I can listen to.., and like, almost anything country with the exception of Reba, lol Kenny Chesny is by far my favorite performer and vocalist, but I haven't been to a concert in quite a few years.

100x's better on my end! Looks good, seems like it runs smoother for me too!

I got two so far. #1 for me this year came from a random area while looking for old bottles on 1/14/14. Antler #2 from 1/19/14 was from a farmiliar face! One from my goal buck heading into shed season!

Thanks William! I was hoping nobody would notice so I could stay 40 another year, lol Happy B-day Newarcher. Hope everyone had a great Christmas!
