    Pizza...

Cheese, pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms, black olives, and more sausage! Cut it any way you like.... it all comes out the same shape, like sausage, lol!
  4. Very nice, your girls are very lucky! When I was a kid, my grandma used to take me to Bingo with her,lol
  5. I'm impressed John! That actually looks edible, lol You're getting to be one of them classy redknecks!
  6. Sorry to hear of your loss. Thoughts and prayers for you and the family through this hard time.
  7. Good shootin'! Gotta be feeling pretty good about that! Might I suggest a second camera angle? .. just sayin' it would add a little dramatic effect to the clips of each trick shot if you had the shooter and target in one frame, and maybe the close-up view you used in the other. Good tune too!
  8. Steve- sent you a PM but haven't heard back from ya in a while. I get nervous when I send payment and the other party drops off the face of the earth. Update please.
  9. We've been dipping down into the teens and low 20's lately. The past few years I've run Cuddies, Wilgame Innovations, Stealth, Primos, and Moultries well into winter when temps have been sub zero. My Moultrie D-65 has blown them all away as far as cold weather battery life is concerned running on 6 C-cells for up to a month or about 600 pics, while my Moultrie L-50 is by far the worse petering out in less than a week with less than 100 pics. This time of year, I've had very little luck getting much more than 3 weeks out of most any of them, but I use cheap Dollar General batteries.
  10. Ya know what gets to me.... hair and makeup! I tell ya, when I come in from a hunt, it aint pretty. Face paint's running, I got hathead, snot running down my mustache, frozen eyebrows, rosey cheeks, can't move my fingers, soaked to the bone, out of breath...you name it! It gets even worse after a sucessfull hunt. Oh sure, on TV it looks so glamorous when the hunter and his compadre each grab an antler of the ungutted deer and drag there buck 10 feet off into the sunet like they're taking a stroll down the beach together! No tripping, or getting hung up on sapplings, wrestling deer out of ravines, sliding down hill on their backsides, sticks in the eyeballs,......LOL! I guess some of us just weren't meant for TV!
  11. I have an old CVA standing in the corner with a seized breech plug. Still sits with the round and charge in the barrel. A few years ago I tried to remove it with no luck. I know the gun is "shot" at this point, so I just wanted to get the load out and have the gun on display. (ol' Hawken style) Long story short, after trying every solvent I owned, and soaking the charge in warm water.., there was only one thing left to do! Two 14 inch pipe wrenches, lol. One on the barrel and the other on the breach plug! That thing is STILL stuck in there to this day, and a little uglier than I care for a display piece where the wrenches left teeth marks and have begun to rust. Guess I'll just leave it standing in the corner for a few more years. Maybe one day I'll saw the stock off and have a nice chunk of fire wood for the stove, lol.
  12. Congrats man! What a great way to add to the joy of the holidays!

    Odd weather

We're finaly getting a taste of what winter is supposed to be like once again. Had 6 inches on the ground for Christmas and got another 18 inches last night...... If it was up to me, I'd have flown south with the robins after the first dusting! C'mon July!!!
  14. Heck, that things more luxurius than most vehicles I've owned, lol Sweet ride!

    Hey Wooly

Hey,thanks guys! I try to stop in from time to time. Been tough for me to post much with all the sad news going around all the forums. I try to stay out of that stuff anymore. But hey, I had a great B-day and appreciate you guys thinking of me! I haven't gone anywhere. Maybe once I start hauling in a few more antlers I'll feel chatty, lol Hope everyone had a great Christmas, and good luck and health to you all in 2013!
  16. Merry Christmas to all! Enjoy the holidays and stay safe.
  17. If this doesn't prove the devil does exist, I don't know what does. Just awefull to hear about. Thoughts and prayers to all impacted by this.
  18. Thanks guys! 12-14-12 Headed out early this morning to move the cams around and continue the search for "side B"! I finally got them all where I wanted them to be and got back to horn huntin'! For now, my main goal was to hit this bedding area where I found the first antler. I just had a feeling the mate was somewhere near bye if I could stay focused and not get discouraged looking through this dense cover. Unfortunately, my first find of the day was another dead buck. I'd been finding fresh leg bones and hair that the yotes had spread out in the area but could never find the carcass. I never did find it, instead I located the skull with part of the spine that must have gotten dragged away. A burly little 6pt. I packed him up and headed back down to kill the day trying to complete my first set of the season. It didn't take long before I saw that big bone-white arch laying ahead of me! I couldn't decide which camera to use for the ATL so here's a few from both to give you an idea of what this area is like! ... and a shot of the base. No blood on this one either but they don't get much fresher than this. ... and here's the days haul with yesterdays mate! Antlers- 2 Dead bucks- 2 Match sets- 1 Dead doe and fawns- 0
  19. That looks like my kinda fun! I wouldn't be able to resist poking my face in there....errr, maybe just my camera on a long stick, lol! Hope to hear ya report back from the new den.... I hear black bears don't actually go into a "real hibernation" so make sure your shoe laces are tied!
  20. Well folks, I wasn't planning on getting such an early start to my journal this year, but it appears the antlers never got that memo. I wrapped up last season with 42 total horns which was my best season by a long shot. Hunting season is still winding down and runs through Tuesday in my neck of the state. Of course, I wasn't gonna let that slow me down when it came down to finding some early bone! 12-10-12 I spent some time hiking around some thickets close to home that greened up on me too quick last spring. I didn't see any antlers I missed, but I did find my first dead buck of the year. A little spiker. 12-12-12 Some days I guess it's best to say nothing at all and let the pictures do the talking. If anyone still wants to tell me that these deer here aren't in for a tough few winter months ahead....... I'm all ears! I hiked around for 6hrs today when I stumbled upon this guy right around 3pm. I don't know if he's still holding the other half or not so I didn't disturb the area too much. Not that it really matters at this point. I've been through here an awefull lot lately while hunting, photographing, and checking cams in this overgrown goldenrod field. Anyhow, the first antler of the new season is in the books and it aint half bad! Even got a trail cam shot of the ol' boy! The ATL with the antler laying right in a fresh bed! No blood on the base. I'm guessing he dropped this one earlier in the week or maybe last week before the rain. You can see the wax ring and there was still a little hair on the base. Antlers- 1 Dead bucks- 1 Dead doe and fawns- 0
  21. That's one crazy story fly- great read! So much for those poor helpless deer that don't stand a fighting chance!
  22. Hehehe- I guess we could call these "Fluff Horns",lol Nothing soft about that collection of bone Stones! Good luck adding a few more like those to the pile this year!
  23. Hang tough Steve, wishing you well. Your doing your part by keeping a great attitude.
  24. Wow, crazy cool photos!!! Thanks for posting these and keep up the good work!
