I have this call and so far it's been trouble. Every time it is used for a while it stops making sounds even though it doesn't require chalk. Has anyone else had this kind of experience with this call and if so, is there any kind of solution to this? Thanks...

Well, I blew it again today...set back up next to that tom and while he was on his way in another hunter showed up in the same area. I whistled to the other hunter and he began to move away. Meanwhile, that gobbler had turned silent. I walked over to speak with the other hunter and winded up spooking the tom who was also with another turkey (never got a good look). Another dissapointing day but maybe better luck tomorrow if the weather holds up...

On Saturday we were able to sneak in within 70 yards of a roosting tom, but he just turned the other way. On Saturday I was able to call a tom and a small jake both within 100 yards on Sunday but they wouldn't come any closer after that. Got tired of it so I made the mistake of trying to stalk them and that ended my hunting for the day. Hopefully tomorrow I'll have a better hunt...
