  1. I made this hunters pendant from a whitetaill deer shed antler found in Pike County Illinois! I formed the 2 blade style broadhead from the antler and then relief carved this nice main frame 10 point rack and skull. The rack even has 3 drop tines! It comes ready to wear with a 19 inch leather cord, 4 metal beads, 2 horn beads, and closes with a lobster clasp. I added color and then spray sealed the piece for lasting durability! Thanks for viewing, Gary

  8. I have a german shorthair pointer who loves to play with shed antlers. She seems to just naturally find them while we are in the outdoors. I guess that she became familiar with their smell from playing with them and now recognizes that same odor in the field. I never knew I was training her to find sheds but letting her play with them at home, seemed to do the trick!
  9. Paraplegic in Texas Hello, I have a friend in Texas who is an avid hunter. He recently became a paraplegic when he was hit in the head by a falling tree. He was in a coma and intensive care for 3 months and is now living in a nursing home. He is going thru intensive re-hab and dreams about bow hunting again! Does anybody know of any organizations in Texas that would assist him in getting back in the field? I live in Michigan, and have no real knowledge of Texas hunting or organizations. Any help would be appreciated!! Thanks, Gary
