It helps to have Steve B's advice on where to hunt---he knows antelope and a few other critters. Gillette, Wyoming is one beautiful place. Once winter comes it would be crazy to sit on those plains looking for a mule deer without the help of a hay bale blind to break the wind and sleat. But if you had a bale blind, an alfalfa field and some coffee you would be good to go.

The deer were still on a summer feeding pattern and we got really close. Round bale blinds, straw bale blinds, hay bale blindsYou can cover a hay bale blind in all types of covering. Straw works really well, so we should call it a round bale blind with straw. Or a hay bale blind looks great with alfalfa vegetation.I use some old bahia from a small round bale I was feeding my goats and the thing fooled all my neighbors. Even the guys who hunt. They just thought I wasn't buying the small round haybales anymore, but I was buying the big round bales.

AP mostly, I still use some advantage for turkey hunting, hardwoods is what my warm jacket is.

they just plain open em up, I've only taken one doe with a rage 2 blade and it was a blood trail a blind man could follow.

Indiana has great deer hunting, but stuck between Ohio, Illinois and Kentucky it doesn't get much press. BUT it holds good bucks.

LSU is unreal at night when at home- I think thier streak is 32 games. Can Florida go in there and pull it out without Tebow at 100%? It's not even certain Tebow will play.

it's called Global Warming--- just plan a friggin rally with all your tree hugger friends and call Dork Gore to come speak and the run ways into your local airport will be frozen over. It has happened to the chicken little's of global warming-- lmao. We did have record temps in Florida today, but we are good for sun and heat. Bring on the 40 degree cold days.

hay bale blindMy design of the hay bale blind has been effective in Wyoming at Steve B's and in Illinois on whitetail this year alone. Of course I will zap a few Florida deer out of one at my place, but Wyoming and Illinois are way more exciting. People come to Florida to gator hunt, fish and look at bikini's-----I mean go to the beach.

My wife does not hunt, but loves to fish. I look forward to taking her and the kids. Hunting is one good time for me to be quiet, calm my world down a little from the hectic pace.

USC must have spent their emotional juice in that win over Ohio State. It's never an easy game after a big win like they had over the Buckeyes. It shows how hard it is to go the distance in a college season.

Nice antelope. He's pushing B & C. Tink you gotta get out to Steve's next year if possible. Steve was worried he wouldn't be able to put all the guys going out onto antelope--- but he pulled out a magic trick even with all the grasshoppers. Randy- way to go. The horns curls around and look like they are turning white- like ivory- killer. Steve- way to go. Remember when you said there were not that many antelope around you place this season? You'll have a hard time convincing any of us of that ever again. Good job putting some nice antelope in front of the hunters.
