Everything that I have watched or been taught has told me to only take a sure shot at a deer. I just watched a show where they were jumping deer in a field and taking shot's at running deer. They were even confused as to the gender of the deer after it was shot. They were not sure it was a doe until they walked up to the dead deer. Is this common practice with Sitka deer? I've never heard of this and especially not with whitetails. Thanks for reading. David
