Here from VA I'm from SW Virginia here, but my daughter doesn't hunt so I may take a friends son if he wants to go. I've seen some nice bucks around this year. I have friends that are game wardens and deputies and they were at my house last night and tonight and they both said there are some big deer around here this year. What part of VA are you from?

I am new on here and looking for any SW Virginia hunters on here. Just to see where everyone hunts here and how the upcoming season looks for them. I have a few small bucks. One tall fork horn that I hope everyone will let go for a couple of years. Also, one really nice 8 pointer that I stupidly missed last year during muzzleloading. I missed that deer but my wife got a nice 6 pointer with an unusual weapon. I didn't know that she was into hunting until then.

No. Anyone can register from any state. You will put in all of your info and the farmers that are intersted will contact you if you meet their criteria. If I get contacted, we will see how it goes and I will reply back on here.

I have registered on the site. Hopefully, I may be contacted to hunt someones farm. I would love to try it and hopefully help someone out with "damage control". Maybe this will catch on and other states will follow Ohio's lead. When my dad was alive, we had all kinds of places to hunt. But after he passed on, I moved to Myrtle Beach for college and lost touch with all the great people that let us hunt. Now, around here, irresponsible people have ruined that for a lot of ethical hunters.
