    Long Time

Hey sorry guys, i havent been on here in a while. Its been a crazy busy year. This summer we went on a fishing trip, and went to Nova Scotia and we also had brandons grad. And it was a crazy wet spring so we were cleanin water out of our basement. We started scouting pretty late and bow season came. We had a few close calls in the starrt of the season but for the last month of the 2 month archery season, it was pretty slow. We also got drawn for elk this year and hunted them hard and couldnt manage to get one. I managed to get a whitetail doe in rifle season but that was it. It has been a long hunting season, 3 months straight of hunting and when we had a break from deer or elk we were out tryin to get some geese. I hope all is well on here. Carson
  3. First crocus's i seen of the year
  4. Used to be a big muzzy fan until i realized that they are not good for lower poundage bows. You loose alot of kenetic energy from the tip. I hit a deer right in the shoulder with one and never did find it. I switced to Nap hellrazors, they are a bit loud but otherwise I love them
  5. When you are taking pics of deer or other wild life, have your camera on auto for a couple good shots so you still have a picture of it. The once you have a couple good shots, switch it to manual if you want to get more creative. Because animals most of the time wont give you much time so when you have it on auto you will get a quicker picture \
  6. I fell asleep, when the game was tied and woke up to that!
  7. Its really foggy here. Too foggy to see the moon.

    Perch back

Ya haha. Thats true. But we never realized till after we had digested it that we probably should have got it mounted

    Perch back

Thats one thing you gotta love about replica mounts. Got to eat it, and mmm that was good. And now get to admire it
  10. Shawn and tbow- Its a manual shift for the 4x4. Brad-Its not a sensor because its just a switch that u flip for 4x4 and you can tell when you flip it that somethings loose, it doesnt have that tug that it should. dbhunter- We are going to take it do my dads work and keep it in the shop to thaw out, and then we might clean it. Before we do anything major I just wanna start with that to at least find out if it is just simply a broken cable which I think it is.

    Ice Fishing

Today we decided to go ice fishing. We havent been out in a while. It was alot of fun. We caught a total of probably 60 perch between 5 of us. My dad also caught a jack. But never kept that much. In front of me is my pile and over to the right is brandons pile but we still caught some more after that. And lane(wildguy) caught a load of perch. 18 keepers. Overall, it was a great day.
  12. Haha!...But the thing is guys. Where I live, its wiiiiiiiiide open and when we see deer, they usually arent close, and this lens doesnt cut it most of the times.

    Perch back

Well a friend of ours told us he was gonna get a replica mount of my perch from a freind of his. This was over 3 years ago. He never said anything about it so this fall we decided we will get it from somewhere else. So after we phoned the taxidermist, our friend told us this other guy had finished the mount but meanwhile the guy we phoned had already started one so we would have to have 2 of my perch mounts. But anyway yesterday I got the first one back. What do u guys think? this perch weighed 1.6 lbs and was 13inches long
