Thats an awesome story, I wont lie im not exactly the ideal christian myself. I accept the Lord as my Savior and will always follow Him through thick in thin. I cant tell you how many times He has looked out for me. A perfect example, I have been deployed in the last standing Combat Zone in Iraq. Imagine that, Havent even gotten a scratch, between my families prayers and a few of our own members it makes me realize how much I have to be thankful for, coming to accept him as my Savior was the best move of my life!

I hate to hear that, Im sure you'll be back into it soon enough. Just like everyone else said, dont sell your stuff just take a break from it. Take everyones advice, you'll pull through. We all know you love it, look ar your signature, some of those bucks are dreams that some people are still waiting to come true. If thats not motivating enough, I dont know what would be. Just keep your head up and drive on bub.

Sorry I havent been around much lately, things have been kind of hetic. I hope everyones seasons have been treating them well. Also, I want to thank everyone for their prayers, we havent had anymore incidents since my last post. I appreciate it very much and im 100% sure that the families do as well. Not to try and add this in ontop of that, this is completly off that subject, dont find it necessary to post two threads when I can do it all in one lol :clown: But how do you only qoute a little peice of someones posts rather then the whole thing..I see people doing it all the time and I cant figure it out for the life of me. Got to get used to this whole computer thing, I do good enough to log onto the forums. Thankfully I have been doing it for a while so I seem to have it under control for the most part! Actually in Stonewood I see the park full all of the time, young children playing on the swing sets and on the slides. Kids from 12-18 playing in the basketball court. And the vol. fire dept. and the boys and I are always in the football field. I know thats just in one small town but I figured I would give you a little grief :clown: But I do understand completly what your talking about. You know sometimes all it takes is a little inspiration to get them outside.... Not to skip off topic, but since I have moved to the town of Stonewood. Our town police officer and I have organized weekly football games, boxing lessons at the fire dept. Baseball, and basketball games in the park.. Honestly, as hard as it is to believe, all they are really looking for is a positive role - model. And to know that I have not only made a difference for my country as a Solider, but as a person as well.. I am completly content, and worst of all I love them all as my little brothers and sisters!

Im 19 years old, By the time I was 13 and big enough to carry a bundle of shingles I went to work with my father everyday in the summer. I would save up my money all summer long, I will never forget it. My first summer I bought my first johnboat. I was thrilled, eventually as the summers passed I began to buy things a little more important at the time. By the time I was sixteen I had already bought and owned my first truck. 89 ford ranger. It wasnt the best peice of art but it got me from school,work and back home. Thats all that mattered...My brother on the other hand was babied by my mother, he is 27 yrs old and does nothing but sit on his butt and play video games. If it wasnt for the discipline my father showed me growing up I would probably be doing the same thing as my brother. I would have never grown into the man I am today...Im not saying the military is for everyone, but do you know how it functions...On Discipline, Selfless Serivce and Respect... Take it from someone who knows first hand, I through my education away over a stupid fight...Went to far, didnt show self control... I realized then and there I needed help. I turned to the Army, they helped me realize real quick how small my temper was... If you dont take anything from this, just know that coming from this teen. Teens are not growing up to fast, its going to take a responsible parent to show them they ways of the world open their eyes to show them that the world isnt like the games you play. You do something wrong, you suffer the consequences... which is the way it should be. I dont believe all this hubbub about how when a parent smacks the kids bottom it is wrong. If it hurts, their going to realize... - Oh crap, better not do that again. - I believe the problem today is that people want parents to turn soft, when in harsh reality the world can be cold and brutal. Sorry for the book, just something about this topic ignited a flame.

I dont recall stating that they should not teach the kids about their history. Nor did my statement mention ANYTHING about the white man being perfect. By statistic's it more common within the black or hispanic community. Im no Adolf Hilter OR want to be. Dont turn this around to look as if I am bad mouthing their race. Because im not, I never said anything of the sort. My question is why are we looked down upon or looked at like were crazy if we say were proud to be white. the simple words, " White Pride." bring nothing but negative thoughts to mind. Which is bull. im sure this will come back with alot of negative feeback, and im sure I will lose a couple of friends on here. I have read every post so far on this thread and I have taken them all into consideration. Now tell me if I am wrong, Just because someone calls someone African American, does this mean they are calling them "black" ? If you think this, you have a problem. I know alot of people from Africa that are white. This whole speal about what is white....Its your heritage, When does the Irish have their heritage month? They dont, We get one day, St. Patricks Day, When do the English have their month? Exactly we dont...When do the Scottish have theirs... We dont get those months, Now why is it that our society believes that because the black community came out of a period of slavery and depression they should have a month devoted to them? That was hundreds of years ago. Dont you think it is time to let that go? You dont see conflict between many English, Scottish , Or Irish men hating each other from the past do you? When do you hear in the news that a Gang of white backgrounds or Irish, Scottish,English, Scandinavian, Italian, German, Dutch, or any European decents. Get into a drug war, killing innocent civilians? Does it not seem to pry upon the black community or the Hispanic communities? Sure I already know whats coming, Well Whites have gangs too...
