    My personal every day carry is a beretta 92 fs and a bersa thunder .380 in my waiste band but for home protection I agree,get the 870 thats exactly what I use for home protection and as mentioned whatever you get get the practice using it,it can me the difference between life and death.

    Pa. No class required,get background check (20 minutes) have photo taken they hand you youre CCW license and youre on your way.The kicense is good for 5 years (unless revoked) and good for carrying any side arm

    coyotes are very unpredictable and have been known to attack humans,about 10 years ago a hunting partner of ours was by himself approaching his stand and came face to face with coyotes and they didnt run off until he fired a shot,this is really sad,she should never have been there alone or unarmed.

    as far as brand,it doesnt matter to me but I choose a cammo pattern that best matches my surrounding,the closer to being invisable you are the better.
