Will be sure to say a prayer for him and his family. Please keep us posted when you can on how hes doing......

Hes got a good idea!! I think a dog would be your best bet. Can you use poision in your state while bow hunting?

I have always sot GT's, its sad that they ever left but glad they are coming back. More should do the same........

I wear glasses now, I'm going back to get contacts cause I got to many problems wearing glasses.

I got a 50 yd pin but its not a shot to take very often, I have killed a doe at 58 yds at the first of season. Made a great shot, just not the shot to take very often. Practice that shot a lot so thats why I took it. Practice at what you want to be your long range and practice it until you feel just as comfortable with it as you do a 30 yd shot.

Can't beat that!! The trucks probably still warm!!

I am more than willing to use your measurements!! LOL!

Its best to get all the info before judging, but even if there are only a few hunters chances are since its privately owned, they will have the money and connections to where nothing will happen to them anyway. Its sad though, there could be some monster bucks if given time to grow........... -
This is my frist Buck with a Bow. Got him in Nov 09 with my Mission Eliminator bow and bloodrunner broadheads. Weighed 220 and scored 135"........

Thats one more down!! Unfortuantley with our current administration, they would rather her (or anyone else) not have a firearm to defend yourself against something like this!! I hope and pray this does not bother her emotionally but there is no telling what someone like this would have done to her or the house down the road.

Great Trophy!! Its hard not to get nervous and rush a shot when something like that comes out. Best thing to do is try not to stare at them horns to much!! I know it screws me up if I do. Good luck on the rest of the season.............

Several good points. It is sometimes hard to judge if they are coming in a hurry but if you can take the time, let em grow. If your undecided, let it go, you know where he is and he will probably be back. I agree with redkneck, over 130" he's down one way or the other!!

GREAT STORY AND GREAT BUCK!!! Thats something you only hear bout on TV!!! Thats something neither of you will ever forget.......

I have started using the new NAP bloodrunners, they are mechanical and work either way, if for some reason the blades don't expande you still get like a 1 inch cut, unlike the rages. I have heard the rages are having problems with the bands breaking mid flight etc. Everybody has an opinion on whats best. I like the bloodrunners cause they fly great to me, and they have a great cut path.

Welcome to the Club!! I myself am new to bowhunting, I started last year with a used bow I bought from a coworker and after that season I knew it was something I had gotten a extreme passion for. So IN Feb of this year I went and tried several bows out. I purchased a Mission Eliminator bow. It has all the qualities and warranty of the Matthews but not so high a price. Just as fast and quieter than the new ReZen. Try different bow and when you pick the one up that is best for you, you will know it. Good luck and just keep your options open.

Thanks for all the congrats! This is the first time I have ever used one of these forums so be patient with me as I figure out exactly what I am doing!!!:oI know it will be extremely hard for me to top this buck but I am going this evening to see if I can't find his "daddy" and arrange a little family reunion!!:gun2:

This is my first buck to take with a bow. He weighed 220 lbs, scored 134 6/8" and had 9 points. He came in about 30 yards away and after the shot, ran less than 100 yards. This is my best buck ever and first with a bow. Needless to say it may take a while to top this one! But I'm sure gonna try!!!
