Got my stand hung yesterday afternoon and sittin in it today. Had what I thoughtwas a doe go by at 55 and lost it in the thickness and circled around downwind coming down my trail and ended up being a little fork buck. Came within 5yards of my stand and grazed off. All of this withing 15 minutes of being in stand. It's still early so we will see what happens

Well finally out of the marine corps. Been stuck cleaning and rearranging the house. Goin to hang stands tomorrow ans be out all weekend especially with the temp drop sat morning. Hopefully I can make something happen

no internet except for the cell, 2 days left in the marines then back to ohio, season opened yesterday. i plan on being in the woods by the end of the week. good luck to everyone this season. corey sorry to hear about everything, just hang in there and do what you have to. good luck brother

got my hunting arrows re fletched last nite to match the practice one, and broadheads are still center punching at 40. a week and half to go and im back in the buckeye state ready to go full draw

ive been doin some ariel/topo scouting trying to find the good pinch points so im not goin in completely blind. i have a few spots that are looking pretty good. but will have to see once i get feet on the ground.

heck i dont get back to ohio until the 2 or 3rd week of season, havent scouted or sett up anything at all and im still goin out and putting deer down.

yea the area has changed behind the house a little, dad says weve been having a few does cross regulary in the back as well as a decent 8 and small 6. then come nov 2 i head up to jackson county ohio to hunt for a week on some prime land with a good friend of mine. he says there are some big bucks up there. so im goin to hold on a buck until atleast rut, unless i have an absolute awesome buck come in. my plan is to hold out untill atleast a 150 class walks through.

i get to scout while season is in, not my choice but i have to live with it. id give anything to be back a few months ago to set up cams and everything, over the past 4 years i havent been able to hunt so the little area i do hunt shouldnt have had any pressure at all, so that should work out. atleast ill be back early enough in the season for ohio, may even go do a little kentucky hunting as well. im definitly ready to be back in the stand.

im quietly awaiting oct 2 for my military contract to end and be on way back to ohio to put the hoyt to use.

checking in, not long and i will be back in ohio putting the crx32 to work. so any solid ideas on a name yet.i got a few ideas for a name Anchored Down Reapers of the Bone Stackin Racks
