IT is called the Buck Collector......Waddell Just had to say........I told you so. And there you have it straight from the horses mouth! Silly, but now you know. It's the "Bone Collector" series called the Buck Collector. Alright, on to something else.......
  2. Got it! Got my archer's choice and it's AWESOME!

Doesn't matter Whatever it is, it sounds good! I've got one and love it! And yes slash ,don't you love Chuck Adams take on the rage broadhead!!! Couldn't have said it Better!!!
  5. Here's what i know Hey Josh, I've been to Olive Branch ,had a friend living there for a short time. Anyway, I too use the Whisker Biscuit and love it! As far as sights i'm using the Extreme 1100 Bone Collector (kinda pricey $100.00) but they have really good sights in the $50.00 range too. One thing i can tell you about Extreme is that they stand behind thier product! Had a problem w/ pins coming loose and they sent me the parts i needed (shorter screws and new sight pin rail) at no charge! No more problems. Make sure you've got enough vibration dampening! Sims Vibration Labs. is where i put my $$$. Seems to be the best. Those are just my opinions,so do your homework and go from there. Happy Huntin' T
  6. They'll send you coupons for more ammo, great! Question is: Does your local dealer have any? 22lr ammo is like hen's teeth around here! Sure do miss the good ol' days when ammo was plentiful and much cheaper! Thanks for the info, i just so happen to have some boxes of that ammo sitting in my ammo case.
  7. I see people asking about new bows because they want to get into bowhunting or get BACK into bowhunting. Well, the bow you choose (make, model,Top of the line, middle,or bottom) is entirely up to you! Just wanted to let anyone looking for a new bow or ESPECIALLY a whole setup, to check out HuntersFriend.com! After countless hours bidding on Ebay only to fall asleep and be outbid at the last min. i decided to just buy one if i could find a good deal! I searched high and low until i found this site and thier deals could NOT be beat and beyond that the people are as nice as they can be no matter how many times you call to add things, change things, or just ask questions, and believe me these folks are BUSY. I got a PSE Bow Madness,Whisker Biscuit,Beaman carbon arrows(12),Broadheads(3),Extreme Bone Collector 1100 sight,Tru-Fire release,Sims stabilizer,Alpine Softloc 5 arrow quiver, maintenence kit,and Flambeau Hard case DELIVERED for 880$. The bare bow went for around 600$. 2010's are in and the deals on '09's are EVEN SWEETER NOW! So if you're looking now or ever, don't buy until you've at least looked; you won't be sorry! Hope this helps anyone swimming in the sea of outfitters and email retailers. Took me many hours to stumble upon them and glad i did. Happy Huntin'! Oh yeh, they build it there, tune it, paper test it, group test it, chronograph it, build your arrows to match your bow setup and send you all the info on your bow plus the paper from your bows test! It don't leave til it's right! Your top pin is pretty much on for 20 yds. and it's up to you from there, but that's awesome for a beginner!
  8. Hey thanks Kid! Encouragement is good! I didn't figure anyone just stuck one in and starting calling right off the bat. I'm finding that "PLACE" but it is still frustrating right when you get a kee kee run and going and you lose it! Guess all good things come in time. Understanding you can do some pretty good distress calls for coyotes and cats as well! Anyone wanting to chime in and give some pointers, I'm all ears!
  9. I am using the whisker biscuit and yes it gives feathers ****! What would you recommend for fletchings with this rest Tony? Or anyone with experience on this for that matter! Thx
  10. Nikon Archers Choice Just ordered the Nikon archers choice! Anyone on here used this one yet? Likes and dislikes?
  11. Wow! You're one lucky lady! CONGRATS!!!!
  12. Hey ya'll, Huckleberry here wantin' some advice from more experienced callers. Wanting to use mouth calls and new to it. Got a three pack of different calls to see which fits best and have found it's one of the smaller ones. Problem is i can make some sounds pretty good in a few days of practice but no matter what i do, i go to droolin' like a hound dog over a fresh meat bone! How far back on the roof of your mouth? Just behind the teeth or more? Using tounge to hold it up there obviously but how do you get the jaw movement without screwing up the calls position? are the corners of the front supposed to be tucked in behind your teeth? HELP! If you know a good website turn me on!! Thanks!
