What most people don't know is that the reason Bama had to play so conservatively is because McElroy couldn't throw the ball or scramble because he was playing the game with TWO BROKEN RIBS. Bama would have won the game by a HUGE margin if he wasn't hurt and he said he ws in severe pain during the game. So some are saying Texas would have won if McCoy wasn''t injured, but as it turns out, Texas had the advantage casue their qb was heathy and Bama's qb couldn't pass or scramble.
