    As with any truck. You can get a programmer to alter your fuel mpg among anything else you need. You can also get the computer reprogrammed to your driving style at a fair price.

    I own a 98 K2500 extended cab short bed with a 454. It has 220,000 miles on it and i just replaced the Intake manifold gasket. It still gets 12.7 mpg @ 70 mph all day long.
