  1. Moving on.... That seems to be the case in a lot of places Fly, as a new grad RT I started at 90 cents and hour less than another Therapist who'd been there 27 years.
  2. When people use the term "Survival of the fittest", and they think it has something to do with physical fitness.
  3. 2009 Dodge Grand Caravan 48,000 miles. 1993 Toyota Pickup 300,000 miles. (Just rolled over) The Yota gets about 25mph and costs about $26 monthly to insure.
  4. Well....as MatthewsXTMan said, Money buys the votes. http://www.nytimes.com/2012/02/09/us/politics/foster-friess-a-deep-pocketed-santorum-super-pac-backer.html
  5. Usually this time of year, the snowbanks are approaching the windows. Out the back door to the right Out the back door to the left, my wife took this photo on opening day of Spring Turkey, I was out hiding in the woods not shooting anything. No pic out the front door, but this is a pic OF the front door.
  6. Imma just gonna quote it, cause it's so true.
  7. Apparently some of you guys missed the fact that this was a State Agent, working for the State Government and has nothing to do with the Federal Government, aside from interpreting USDA guidelines (Not Laws) in place since 1972.
  8. 45 minutes of intense cardio, daily. An hour if you count warm-up, to many old injuries to lift, although I will now and agian for old times sake.
  9. The IB internet meme is perhaps the best to date! Hilarious!
  10. LOL! What debate!? That was me presenting my side of the argument.....and then repeated snarky comments and her pointing out my grammatical errors. lol! But I suppose it's fair to call that 'par for the course' for a teenaged girl.
  11. Sweet! She's a beauty! Without seeing the paws, it looks like a Bobcat to me. Wouldn't a Lynx have longer tufts of hair on the ears? Great photo! I saw a wild Bobcat only once in the wild. In the Adirondacks.
  12. Ask for an Incentive Spirometer, don't want to end up with pneumonia. Feel better soon!
  13. Sounds like a great trip! I'm sure you guys will have an awesome time! My girlfriend (now wife of almost 10 years) used to take road trips all the time....it was always a lot of fun. Now we're packing up the 3 little ones and going to drive to Vero Beach Fl in a few weeks! We'll stay in Orlando for a few nights and hit some attractions. After that we'll head to stay with family for a while, and then take the scenic route home....... we're planning on being gone for 25 days!
  14. Never was, never will be. Nope, but I suppose you'll never let the facts stand in the way of a good conspiracy theory. So you admit that Freedom and Liberty are not your priority for our country? As an American you have every right to believe stuff like this, you don't however, have the right to Federally legislate it.
  15. And since America is a secular nation, he is not a good fit for president. Santorum wouldn't know what Conservatism is if it bit him on the nose. Vote for Ron Paul, he'll allow the States to legislate any twisted sense of morality the voters want, including the blatant homophobia, ignorance of scientific facts, and big government support that Rick Santorum exhibits. As the parent of young child with a chronic, incurable, potentially fatal disease, I sympathize with his daughters plight. I wish him and his family the best. However, I can't help but see irony in the fact that the very "Big Government meddling" & the "Morality Police" he wants to impose, very well may have made it illegal for him to have a baby with his high-risk 48 year old wife. Rick Santorum has no interest in Liberty, he's only concerned with inflicting his personal beliefs on everyone else.
  16. Putting together a game stew for Ice Fishing Camp in a few weeks, got some Kangaroo steaks, never eaten it before but I'm looking forward to it. Ever had it? If so, better in a stew or another recipe? Thanks.
  17. Finally got out on the ice this week, about 6 weeks later than last year. It's been warmer than average here, but not really record breaking..... the snow drought is pretty unusual however. Supposedly some weather moving in tonight.
  18. Not as funny as the pious, self-serving, egomaniacal, manipulative, and alarming posts by the fundamentalist extremists on this forum.
  19. Blade, it's important to realize that most people in this country are not as bigoted and racist, or as filled with hate as some of the people that have already responded to your post. Some people are so dim-witted that they fear anything (or anyone) that is different than them in any way. To those type of people, anyone whose skin is a different color, or have different beliefs, are automatically the enemy......they would do anything to manipulate a person to see things their way. Even tell lies, especially to a young person such as yourself. I hope that when you're grown up, you see that the world is full of all different kind of people, and most of them should have as much of a right as we do to live as they please. But thats not up to me, or anyone else to convince you is right or wrong. I'm also glad the major operations in Iraq are over, have you talked with your parents about how you feel? They are the only ones you should really listen to. I'll let the posts that follow mine speak for themselves.
  20. Oh man its been brutal! I'm on vacation for 2 weeks took the family to the shore to beat the heat!!
  21. "The bread of life"?...........What is that, whole wheat or something? LOL!
  22. I think that many people across many theologies, throughout history have thought that. Religion, by design, makes people think like that........fear keeps you loyal.
