  1. Congrats!.....it's a good feeling. Still paying for my wifes BA and my MS I earned in 1997. Funny thing is I've gotten FAR more return on the $6000 it cost me for my AAS that I got "later in life". LOL
  2. Sugar Snow........not even going to clear the driveway.

Seems like these forums are emulating Twitter and FB with the "likes" and "tweets". Sort of pointless.
  4. Snowed hard here just about all day, got about 5" so far.
  5. Honestly, if I'm going to spend money for a photo print or have a photo put onto an item like you mentioned.............it's going to be one of my own photos. You certainly don't have a bad idea, but digital cameras and the Internet have all but erased that sort of market.
  6. Yea.........my attempt at humor. I was a cheesemaker in NYS, in fact I'm still licensed to transport raw milk in NY.
  7. Sweet! Congrats. I'm eager for our season to start, seem so far away. I drove over to camp today with my daughter, still several feet of snow on the ground and about a dozen guys ice fishing. We chased 2 bearded birds up into a tree while snowshoeing! Tracks everywhere.
  8. Just a bit....but it's more than it used to, I bet the check valve is indeed on it's way out. It's pretty typical this time of year, some of my neighbors have very wet basements. The previous owners of my house raised the floor with 4" of polished cement, and installed the sump pump. I have a 12v backup, just a manual set up.
  9. Just timed it. It's pouring into the hole like a water fall!
  10. We open May 1st as well. The land I'll be huntung still has 2 - 3 feet of snow, shoed up there twice the last 2 weekends and didn't see any activity at all and just a few tracks on the crust. I've spotted a few here and there in the fields near my house, mostly 2 or 3 together, to much distance to determine gender though.
  11. Don't have TV, just catching some of the video online now......incredible. Seems a nuclear power plant sustained some severe damage.

    Snow?

Rained hard for a while today, snowing now. Snowpack is down to about 2' or so.
  13. Oh, didn't realize they made cheese out there. LOL! Smoked Maple Cheddar is my favorite. Grafton Village Cheese - Grafton Village Cheese I was a cheesmaker on a sheep farm years ago. Old Chatham Sheepherding Company…Award-Winning Sheep s Milk Cheese & Yogurt
  14. My portfolio has had about 300% growth over the last 18 mos. Probably has very little to do with who's in office.
  15. To whom, specifically, are you referring?
  16. That article says it was posted in 2004. But just because I'm a crusader against hipocrisy: PETA Kills Animals | PetaKillsAnimals.com
  17. > As long as it's not made with tin foil.........
  18. > And/or our response to the Russian invasion of Afganistan. Did you catch this story m? http://www.cnn.com/video/#/video/world/2011/02/18/bs.gutierrez.sheriffs.last.stand.cnn?iref=allsearch ......seems the plight of our southern residents is getting some national attention.
  19. My hip heater nowadays is a Beretta 9000S in the 9mm. I made a holster from sheets of Kydex I bought off the internet. I carried a Taurus PT-22 (Bobcat knockoff) in a pocket holster for quite a while, but the HP's don't cycle to well in the cheapo Taurus.
  20. Almost!?! I heard you can get your man card revoked for not crying during RUDY!
  21. Pharmacists are medical professionals licensed by the state. You should complain to the licensure board as well as Wallyworld Pharmacy , this is a legitamit gripe if it occurred like you said it did. I guarantee that guy was the highest paid employee on duty that night. http://www.ok.gov/OSBP/documents/complain.pdf
  22. "Under God" was added in 1954. I prefer the original version and say it as loudly as I can when reciting the pledge: I pledge allegiance to my flag and the republic for which it stands: one nation indivisible with liberty and justice for all. Thankfully we live in a secular nation and aren't required to say it one way or another. We even have the freedom to not say it at all if we want.
