  1. This durable, steel stake is the last stake you will need for turkey hunting. This stake allows you to adjust your decoy from the laying position up to the feeding position and anywhere inbetween. Simply flip over the adjustable arm and you can simulate the mating position to drive those gobblers wild! An extra wingnut is included to keep your decoy on the stake during those high wind hunts. $15 TYD PayPay only
  2. I keep an eye out during turkey season. It's tough to find them this time of year because of the foliage.
  3. We have packs of wild dogs that run deer down. It is bad in the winter time when the deer are exhausted and have little cover.
  4. At this point, they have heard it all. Soft calling and scratching in the leaves is you best bet.
  5. Congrats on two great birds!
  6. I love a good aluminum over slate call
  7. I wish they would make red tailed hawks legal to kill. There was a study done in Kentucky involving red tailed hawks and turkey poults. A hen had 27 poults she was in charge of. The red tailed hawk followed the hen and killed one poult a day for 27 days.
  8. Try a single hen in the laying position at the edge of the field. This is one of my favorite late season strategies. Throw in some soft calling and it can be deadly.
  9. Killed my first public land bird yesterday. My two-wheel ride helped me get around the old strip pits in no time! 20lbs 9 inch beard 1-inch spurs.
  10. my first gobbler of the year! This is my first year using my mountain bike to turkey hunt. I welded a gun rack and turkey/cooler holder on the back. You can't even tell they're back there! If you are in decent shape, I highly recommend you give it a try!
