We have packs of wild dogs that run deer down. It is bad in the winter time when the deer are exhausted and have little cover.

I wish they would make red tailed hawks legal to kill. There was a study done in Kentucky involving red tailed hawks and turkey poults. A hen had 27 poults she was in charge of. The red tailed hawk followed the hen and killed one poult a day for 27 days.

Try a single hen in the laying position at the edge of the field. This is one of my favorite late season strategies. Throw in some soft calling and it can be deadly.

my first gobbler of the year! This is my first year using my mountain bike to turkey hunt. I welded a gun rack and turkey/cooler holder on the back. You can't even tell they're back there! If you are in decent shape, I highly recommend you give it a try!
