  1. Not much.As for the sheds, on the NASHC forum I was told that there are 8 recorded sets of these in the world. I will sometime have to get a certified "NASHC" measurer to put a tape to them and I guess they can go in the NASHC Record book. As for the head, I boiled it and bleached the skull and it looks real good (and weird). I will try to post some pictures of it sometime maybe
  2. Thanks guys! This is the first I've heard of the NASHC. I will have to look into getting my antlers submitted.
  3. Here is the link to my previous thread: http://www.realtree.com/forums/shed-hunting/103118-hes-back.html Well, I've spent a lot of time looking for his sheds and here is the result: I don't know if it was a happy ending to the long history I have with this buck or a sad ending. It is better than not knowing what happened to him I guess. I knew his antlers were grown together again, but I didn't expect that they were grown together to this extent.
  4. From other pictures I have, I believe they are fused together again. He has what I call two unicorn points coming from between his antlers and another one a little farther down towards his eyes and one coming out above his left eye. If I can't get him before bow season is over, I will be burning holes in my boots trying to find his sheds again. And as for the picture where he is angry: He and a smaller buck were chasing a doe that day. I'm guessing he was getting ready to show that little buck who was boss.
  5. Here is a liknk to a thread I started in April about som sheds I found. http://www.realtree.com/forums/showthread.php?t=98462 I have gotten pictures all year of this buck on the hoof and wanted to get some input from you guys. Let me know if you have ever seen anything like this before. I did a lot of hunting this year and never could get a shot at him. Unless I get him with my bow this winter I will be doing a lot of walking come shed hunting season...
  6. Some of you may remember this thread that I posted back in April of some sheds I found. http://www.realtree.com/forums/showthread.php?t=98462 I got pictures of this buck on my trail camera now and was going to post them to get everyone's input, but it constantly tells me that my pictures are not a valid image file. They are all .jpg files so I don't understand why it doesn't recognize them. It worked fine on the same computer back in April with .jpg file extensions. Anyone else had this problem? Any suggestions?
  7. Hey guys, I found these sheds last weekend and at first I thought I had found a busted up skull, but when I looked again I realized that these are shed antlers. They are grown together at the bases and came off the buck's head in one piece. You ever heard of this or seen anything like this before?
  8. I found these antlers last weekend. At first I thought that I had found the top of a skull with the antlers attached. Not rare, I know. However, after I looked closer I realized that these are shed antlers. The bases and brow tines are so big and such a mess that they grew together and came off the deer's head in one piece. Anyone ever heard of this? How rare is this?
