Are you wanting to get into bowhunting primarily for the challenge, or tradition,
thats mostly it I have fire arm hunted all my short life;) and would like to try bow hunting because of challenge and tradition.
I hunt in Northwest ga were the brush is pretty thick and around here 30-30 is the best. as a brush gun you cant beat it the ole lever is my favorite I even use iron sights if that gives you a range estimate around here its more than enough:1eye:

Which is better. I am new to bow hunting and have a choice ahead of me which should I choose. I know there is a small rivalry between these two clans so dont shoot each other please!:saber::saber::saber::chair:

Im picking one up at a local pawn shop in La fayette GA for only $150 not sure what its called but the guy is pretty reliable he sold my brother a sears 410 bolt action for $90:crutch::crutch::crutch:
In my humble opinion the best time to buy gear for deer season is summer. Because its so hot its a good time to use the allowance to pick up some winter camo. Or a couple other things :gunsmilie:
