  1. a mineral lick will a plain salt lick doesn't do much
  2. i shoot 100 grain thunder heads never had a problem blowing through them
  3. please for your sake check out new breed archery. the owner is top notch he set one up himself sent it to my local dealer let me shoot and if i liked it i could buy it keep it 60 days and if i didn't like it take it back to the dealer for a full refund. i have a 25" draw also and have tried almost every short draw bow with the exception of matthews just because i don't like them. lol i have had an elite fire had a hump between the valley and th wall shoot a 330 grain arrow 245-255fps a browning micro adrenaline same arrow 220fps a browning illusion nice bow shoot 250's -260's a pse x-force sd (short draw) shoot in the high 260's-270's but aggresive draw a bowtech equalizer bulky shoot in the 250's-266 is as fast as i could get it with twisted strings and cables. all these were with the same grain arrow at 60 pounds then i got the nemesis smooth light no shock dead in the hand comes with either split or solid limbs your choice if you want more speed go with the split limbs if you want it to be more smooth but i think it is the smoothest bow i have shot then get the split limbs. i am also only shooting at 58 pounds instead of 60 like the others i went with the solid limbs had it set up and paper tuned within 20 minutes. then went and got the chrono.. same arrow as before shooting 308fps and with my easton lightspeed 3d arrows it shoots 313fps this is hands down the best short draw bow i have ever owned you will not be dissappointed like i said before do yourself a favor and check them out i got a samurai model nemesis all black the come with vaportrail strings and cables heres a link to their site http://www.newbreedarchery.com/
  4. they are effective untill you have to hunt in the rain or snow all day they don't hold up well once they get real wet
  5. 2.5 yrs old and about 90-100" if he was an eight but missing that point probably around 85"
  6. thanks jesse but they have to be made for a wingmaster not an express they are diffrent and like i posted in the thread i had allready looked at cabela's and midwest gun works anyone else have any info as to where and find one
  7. i am having a hard time finding a 30" remington wingmaster barrel with rem chokes. theres none on the cabela's site and the one place i did find one midwest gun works they are sold out does anyone else know of a good place to buy barrels. any info would be great thanks
  8. browning micro adrenaline
  9. with rage heads shot placement is crucial but if you make a good shot then prepair to get your boots bloody tracking them by far the best blood trails i have ever seen are from rage and i have shot many diffrent heads from mechanicals to fixed and even a flint head
  10. i have killed 2 does so far and i have to say i have never liked rage for the penetration but i love them for the blood trails. granted i do shoot low poundage and have a short draw so most the time the rage heads stop on the off side ribs and then they break my arrow but they are pouring buckets of blood and everytime they move their leg the rage and what's left of the arrow a augering the lungs and heart needless to say they don't make it far.. compaired to my magnuss snuffers i always get a pass through 2 small holes and minumal but deadly damage to the lungs the blood trail is usually decent and they usually run about 50-75 yards compaired to 20-40 with the rage heads
  11. i haven't tried those but my HV'S work great no problems yet
  12. shouldn't you be holding/shooting a bear bow if that's one of the sponsers??
