I have used talons and muzzys now im using rage 3 blade and loving them so far i have only killed one buck with them but he only went 20 yards so it worked well.

I'm no expert but i have always shot an arrow rated for about 5-15 pounds heavier then my poundage my bow is set on like now my bow is set on 70# and im shooting GT XT hunter 7595 i hope you figure it out

I have not used these but i have heard good things. I also shoot the Z-7 i use the gold tip Xt Hunter 7595 they work great with 2" blazer vanes they group well.

Where did you get your new grip at your pro shop or online? I would like to see on to see if i would like it.

I use a 19 with a lite but i shoot a single pin setup. so that might make some change from setup to setup. I have found with my setup if i use a bigger pin when i get shooting any further then 40 yards my pin covers the whole chest of the deer. so i would say try both and see what works for you. You should keep your aim point steady for atleast 2 seconds after the shot. The shot should feel smooth and remember to keep your elbow up and stay focused on the shot for 2 seconds after you release your arrow.

In a river bottom in a funnel of timber between a creek and corn feilds. She will be bow hunting only

my wife will not hunt from a tree and i have never hunted from the ground. So i am no help to her she is new to archery and trying to get her first deer. Any body got any advice i would be greatful.
