Thanks for the welcome. I live about 50 miles south of Mt. Shasta, in the valley. But I only have to .drive an hour west to be in the mountains. Our archery deer and bear season is coming to its 3rd weekend. Ready to get back up and chase blacktails and bear.

If Im starting off in the wrong area, feel free to point me in the right direction. My names Bryan, I live in NORTHERN California, not the palm trees and beaches part, but the farmland and mountains part. Ive been hunting Blacktails here all my life and recently started Bear hunting, all with my bow. When archery season closes and the other guys grab there rifles, I stick with the bow till the last weekend. Looking forward to some good reads on here.
