  1. OCD kicks in with me when it comes to my hunting equipment and clothes.
  2. I forgot to add my other question. What would be a good starter bow for my wife? She wants to get into the sport. But I don't want to drop a lot of money if she changes her mind! Lol
  3. So since Missouri had a bad drought, but here in the past few weeks we have been getting liberal amounts off rain. How will this affect deer patterns?
  4. One more day and season will official kick-off in the great state of Missouri.
  5. Thank you brother for the service you do for this THE GREAT COUNTRY!
  6. 2009 Bear Lights Out!!! She ain't the best out there; but she has it where it counts.
  7. Well tonight I'm going to try to hunt the heat... Last year I had luck. Has anyone else success on hunting the heat?
  8. My dad said it looked like a lung shot when he saw the arrow. That's why i'm going to look on the neighbors.
  9. So wednesday I decided to go hunting at the last minute. Well I got in the stand at 4:30 and I guess I under dressed for the weather. So I decided to get out of the stand early at 6 pm . I was walking back when i stopped at a hay bale. Seen something coming out of the corner of my eye... I turned and say a nice size buck. I ducked behind the hay bale and got ready. He came out with his nose to the ground... I got him to stop and I took a 30 yard shot. I shot low but to my surprise he ducked right into a great shot... he did a 180 and ran buy i saw the arrow in him. Arrow was a perfect hit. I looked for blood didn't find any... found my arrow 50 yards on the other side of a creek with blood and pinkish red gunk on the arrow. looked for 2 hours gave up for the night; went out this morning still no sign. Going to get permission this afternoon to look on a neighbors property. I'm just totally sick over this. I shot my first deer with a bow earlier this season and I though i would but a nice buck under my belt. :bummed:
  10. I used muzzy's broadheads. I got her at 8 yards. she went right down and rolled like 10 feet. When I drew back my facemask got caught in my tigger release but i still managed to get a great killzone shot
  11. :DShot my first deer with the bow... It was so exciting when I drew back a nailed the doe at 12 yards. It feels so good to get the first one out of the way.
