By scent. I handle the training antlers with tongs, put into basket afterwards, hose off, hang basket in woods. Also cover antlers with leaves and leave for period of time. Soon time for fresh shed hunting! She works the air same as last 3 dogs I trained for sheds, and pigs use nose first anyway. Dogs will use sight first if they can. Thank you for your interest!
