Heard a gobbler yesterday morning and heard no gobbles this morning. March is slow for Alabama, when April comes around then they will get cranked up.

I did use a strutter decoy but had nothing but bad luck with it. I only now use a single hen and have had good results with it.

Gas here in NW Alabama was $3.09 and a few days later it had jumped to $3.47. It will be $4.00 by Spring Break.:angry:
