Familiar with the passage, if you read in context you would also call out that it was in disdain of honoring and praising other pagan gods, gods of the dead, The undead, etc. At that time there was rituals as such. My "art" on the other hand (some of which you don't see here such as a entire back piece) honors my wife, my family, and honor/respect for god's creatures which we are all so found of. Leviticus 19:28 is commonly taken out of context

You won't find me bashing you, as religious beliefs are deeply held by many,as I have mine. Treating others well even at times if difficult is not a bad way to be. Lot of people don't care , dislike, or even hate skin art, and it's an opinion. I happen to love well done tattoos, not a big fan of scratchers, poor work, poor designs. Even then it is still an opinion
