Thank you! And we had just thrown that trail cam up to see where some feral hogs were and this big guy comes along. We are thinking about planting some oats, sunflowers, and corn I think. Also we're gonna put up some ground blinds and build a couple as well.

I hear that there are a small number who shoot lefty on bows, I am one of those small numbers...any more?!

I know it's out of season y'all and that I haven't shot my first deer yet. But My dad and I decided to set out a trail cam around the place and see what came up....and what do you know...this ole boy showed up! [ATTACH=CONFIG]11429[/ATTACH] I know it's not a good picture...but look at the size of the deer! It could be about a 8-11 pointer. So I need y'alls help since I don't know a darn thing about deer and how they are. We live on a low fenced 240 acre plot. We use to raise cattle but we still have some places on the "56"(which is what we call it) that are very very good for deer coverage. What me and my buddies were thinking is that we take off from work or go up one weekend and plow one of the fields and plant some things in there...but we don't know what to plant. We have a feeder as well, but it's not currently running, but my buddy knows a place to where you can fix the spinner and replace all the bells and whistles the feeder comes with. Y'all I thank y'all for looking at this, and the patience that will come along with it.
