  1. Scent Lok vs. Under Armour The most important thing is sealing off your clothes to prevent absorbing other Oder. You can be just as scent control effective with a cheap pair of pants & sweatshirt/jacket from Walmart as you can with any of the high dollar scent control gear. Another vital important thing to do is during hunting season, convert to scent free body wash, fragrance free deodorant & lotion ALL the time....EVERY day....not just when your hunting. I NEVER use regular shampoo/conditioner, axe body wash or any scented deodorant during hunting season, even during the week for work when I'm not hunting. Some people take the high dollar scent apparel for granted and think they're putting on an invisible hunting suit to block colognes & smelly crap....BIG MISTAKE!!!
  2. Scent Lok vs. Under Armour I actually use a 2 Tote system. I have 2 pair of socks, underwear & T-Shirts that ill rotate along with my undergarments (UA cold gear, etc) in one tote with earthwafers beside my night stand. That is what I hop out of the shower into and wear driving to farm. Then have 2nd Tote I leave in truck with all my outer garments, gloves, hats etc. I wash my undergarments every weekend and only wash outers if necessary. I also use black carbon powder that I put on my hands, face & hair at truck. For breath control....I keep a bottle of mouthwash in my truck that I'll gargle to kill bacteria in mouth and then gargle/drink water. Spray down & giddy up! Sounds like a lot of hassle but its really quick & easy as part of Pre-hunt routine
  3. "Pro Hunters" I have been in the filming business myself for the last 4yrs and film for a show that is on the Sportsmans Channel. I have met a lot of the "Hunting Celebrities" at Trade Shows & Expos and Yes....there are some who are not only arrogant but also harvest deer illegally with tags NOT in their name. But on the flip side of the coin, more of them ARE genuine and down to earth. I can also confirm that the Lakosky's do NOT hunt high fence. Lee is a Engineer by trade & owns and/or manages a BOAT LOAD of land. A big Advantage they & others have is SPONSORSHIP!! Food plots as an example, where I am provided around 10 bags of seed....Lakosky gets PALLETS of seed delivered by Semi Truck! He has a combined 1600 acres of Food Plots ALONE!! Trust me....Lee puts a lot of personal work & sweat into his properties as do the Drury Brothers. Most tho, as another already mentioned, go the Outfitter Route. There you are hunting properly managed land, where they have a staff that are planting food plots, placing & monitoring trail cams year round and placing tree stands & blinds accordingly. The difference there is a average Joe will pay big money for a 2-5 day stay there vs Hunting Pros & Celebrities get to hunt for free cause they, in return, promote the Outfitter on their National Televised TV Show. But yes there are some too, who take the easy route and Hunt High Fence. It's one thing if you're taking a disabled kid or a Veteran on a hunt at one of those places but when you have someone making it look like He or She is just THAT good of a Hunter is very sad!
