  1. I'm pretty suprised nobody has anything at all to say about the subject.
  2. You looking for concealed carry? If so I highly reccomend the beretta nano. I just picked one up the other day and I love it. It's completely smooth on the outside, nothing to catch on the side, no slide release, takedown lever, or safety. The nano comes in 9mm and is 6+1. I have medium sized hands and the gun feels comfortable but I'm definately waiting for and extended mag with an extended grip. I had a Taurus 40 cal and I traded it for this one, and I believe I made the right choice. Like most people have already said, you just have to educate yourself on the brands, their price ranges, and application. Once youve looked into that and you go look at firearms you'll be able to tell what feels right and is the best bang for your buck.
  3. pick me! Freedom arms model 83 chambered for .454 casull? I wanna win!! But I don't nearly know as much as half of you I'm sure.
  4. Maybe? Colt single action army first gen? Cartridge: 44 mag rimfire. The one with an ejector was the civilian model and the one without is the sheriffs model? I hope I'm right? Lol
  5. This shows some really radical paranoia. We have had many wars before in which elections continued as normal, most notably the American Civil War, WW1, and WW2. For the sake of conversation did you ever think "what if"? I'm not really much of a conspiracy theorist but i think its personally better to not take anything for granted and get a false sense of security. Absolutely everybody knows that politicians lie so I'm a little hesitant to rest easy because of any politicians "morales," ethics, and integrity. Just my 5 cents.
  6. Is it just me or does it seem like remington has a lot of recalls and safety issues? This isn't a hate thread or a "my brand Is better than yours thread. I own an 870 because of great reviews both online and from friends and because its one of the most common/popular shotguns IMO. But I noticed that there's a safety warning on the shotgun forum and ammo recalls on the rifle forum. I've also heard about the remington 700 bolt action safety issue. I work at walmart, often in the sporting goods department, and I've noticed quite a few recalls for ammo. Walmart sells limited brands of ammo, remington, winchester, and federal at mine. With federal being the lesser known brand I'd expect it from them first but its always remington. Could this simply be because they're such a large company that produces a wide variety of products? Am I alone in feeling this way? Opinions? Comments?
  7. Didn't see it, I'm on the Android app and it just doesnt seem to give me that many options. When I tap pictures it also doesnt load some but it'll load others. I subscribed to the forum so when/if anybody posts ill get it. Thanks for the advice and for responding.
  8. Here are some pics of how we made out this spring. The first pic is all of them and the second is the ones i found. Anxious for next spring! :Edit: Only one photo worked.
  9. Hey I just downloaded the app for this forum and it says there's threads on here but no matter what I do it doesnt show any. Any ideas? And on to a more relevant topic for this forum I recently just purchased a baretta nano which I absolutely love. I had a Taurus pt 24/7 pro cds and I have to say I took a step in the right direction. Anybody else on here own one?
  10. From Maine... I was born and raised in Maine and recently got my first deer last season... Most of my hunting trips with my grandfather consisted of him telling me there used to be deer everywhere and didn't consist of actually seeing deer. They don't give out doe permits up north to my knowledge but other southern zones have them. I hear there's a plan to get the deer herd back up again but who knows, we can only hope.
