My wife recently got into archery with me,so when I went to get her a new bow I decided to treat myself as well.The owner of Shenendoah Sports here in Va was very helpful..at first.He set her up with a mission to get a feel what she could draw.He suggested a more expensive bow by another manufacturer that he did not have in stock,we took his word that it would be good for her and even decided to drop a sizable deposit.Now a buddy of mine just happened to get said bow for his son and was good enuff to drop the poundage all the way down so she could get a sneak peek...she could not draw it.We immediately called and canceled the order.He said it hadnt been shipped yet anyways..but told us he didnt have to refund our money.Needless to say i made a trip down and got our money back.He was rude from the beginning of the call,didnt shut up long enuff to hear that we just wanted to get another bow from his shop as well as the 800+ I dropped on a bow...so all in all his crappy attitude cost him about 1600 in sales.Not to mention all of the negative word of mouth.My archery shop is actually in an ace hardware store,doesnt sound like much but Curtis knows his stuff and treats everyone great.Just my 2 cents..customer service goes a long way.
