Tuesday morning Nov-13th 2012, I climb into my stand out on the ridge just before sunup. at about 8:00 am a nice little 7 pointer comes thru with his nose to the ground. he never knew I was there. I think good sign, the bucks seem to be looking for does, I see a few more small bucks, all with thier nose to the ground. At 10:20 I notice a doe, about 180 yards out the ridge. then I see she has a buck trailing her, she is moving toward my stand from left to right, but in some thick stuff, I pick my spot, a small opening just to my left, I figure when the buck gets there, I should have a shot. Well she led him to the spot, I gave a grute, the buck stopped, I make the shot. Down he goes. I say yes nice buck. I gave him a few minutes before climbing down and going to him. Man he was better than I thought,I was thinking nice 8 pointer. Oh no count um 11 points, A great buck in my book.
