sorry they are sideways i tried to fix um the group pic isn't all this years there are 19 left sides and 8 rights 2 matched sets. the 3rd muley in is a 180"+ buck i never found his other side. next year i'll try to get in the contest if elk sheds can count.
2. My son is going to a big archery turnament in vegas this month. anyone else going? he has the love of archery turnaments and competing more then i ever had. i'm just a bowhunter he is 10 times more into it then me, his son who is 6 is 100 times more then both of us lol. My son Moseley got his first bow at 6 and little Casey got his first bow at 4. i didn'y get my first bow tell i was 23. I hope he has a great time in vegas and hope he places in the top end of the pack.
3. prayers for Scott, family and friends. from wyoming.
4. normally the mathews but when i rifle hunt i like my 270 m 77 ruger ss or my weatherby vanguard 300 mag, haven't taken my 243 788 rem in two years but its my go to rifle on white tail or antalope mainly its my coyote rifle but even it has to share with the 22-250 788 rem and now once i site it in the 223 dpms AR. then there is the win 670 30-0-6 i haven't carried YET it was my sons and he did a lazer engraving of a elk on the stock so when he went to sell it we got it to save for his son.
5. i'd be tickled to death just finding those sheds!! i'd be walking 10' off the floor if i shot him! beautiful buck congrates to your uncle
6. the muleys the wife and i took were on privete the sons and the elk were on national forest by sarratoga wyoming. all the white tails were from the black hills natinal forest outside sundance where i grew up. all came to calling. thats what i like about whitetails. i'm a coyote calling junky i'd like calling elk as much if i could do it every weekend. glad to be back here at realtree i forgot my password years ago and just got it updated
7. here is the buck and my grandson he is around 170" gross 161 net green i use to come here a long time ago but forgot my password years ago.
8. we all had a good season this year, me my wife and my son all filled our tags in archery season. i took this buck opening weekend on labor day with my grandson my son took this buck during the second week of sept and we both took cow elk that week but didn't take pics cuz a cow looks like a cow then the wife took her first buck with her new crossbow on the last weekend of sept here are some whitetail we took here in wyoming last year the wifes the sons and mine waiting for a ride in the truck but i had to do the dew first
9. nice buck he will be a pritty mount i just got the wifes buck back from the taxi 2 days ago i haven't got any pics on the computer yet. he isn't the biggest but its her first deer in 20 years as she stopped hunting when the kids started as we didn't need that much meat. the wife and i hunted alone together for the first time in our 28 years of marrage as jody our oldest was 6 when we got married. sometimes the hunt is what makes the trophy. she about froze to death getting him
10. i've been a bowhunter for many years i bought my wife a crossbow as she is left handed and right eye dominent i thought she could do this much easier. this year we were hunting together but when i shot my deer i ranged it at 76 yards to far for my mathews so i grabbed the wifes crossbow. it was the smartest way to take this buck as it has a 75 yard crosshair and will put them right in the X. i know it was the right thing to do so why do i feel like i cheated or something. it was my target buck and tammy had a different buck she wanted.
