  1. So I asked the Iowa DNR what to do with them. They said to bag it up and take it to the dump for disposal. Just FYI.
  2. Hey guys, I'm curious as to what to do with the carcass of a yote after it's skinned. Leaving it in the woods isn't an attractive option 'cause of domestic animals running on public land (I don't know anybody with private land yet) and eating certainly is not an option for me, however if you wanna eat 'em let me know. You can have 'em all. :alien:
  3. Iowa hunting partners Well, here I am..... 7 years later, but here none the less. If you're still monitoring this thread I am in the market for a partner or few for Iowa yotes. I stumbled across this thread whilst searching Iowa coyote and signed up in order to post here. I have my own equipment, including HD video gear if needed, but taping isn't my priority. I saw the Youtube trail cam pics of those Oklahoma yotes killing a nice buck and it touched something in me that the word fury couldn't begin to define. I have both my Iowa hunting and Fur Harvester licenses. I was born in Fort Madison and grew up in Des Moines County until I was 17, when I volunteered to potentially give my life to my country and our Constitution during that garbage they refer to as the Viet Nam conflict. After 37 years I have returned to my own S.E Iowa homeland and have a very small list of folks whom remain, none are hunters of any kind, though I'm avid. I'm open to hunts of all things and would dearly love to find those that share this passion. I have recently purchased a duck, trapping, fishing vessel with blind and mud motor. If you're still around and have any interest in adopting this 56 year old fart, or if anybody reading has an interest, send me a note. I own and shoot a 25-06 Rem, several shotguns, Sig P220 .45 ACP and am a pretty fair archer with a Mathews Outback and a SQ2. Thanks guys.
