    One thing we used to do back in the day to check wind, was to put a small drop of fletching adhesive on the underside of the top limb of our bow and stick about a 3" piece of thread to it so that it would just hang there. You would be able to check wind direction without moving around, as well being able to look at it while in full draw.

    Thanx for all the good advice. Just got back from "test driving" a diamond outlaw, martin onza, & a bowtech insanity. There are so many choices, & to me they all seem to perform relatively the same. Only real big noticable differance so far is the price... Holy crap! The search continues...

    After 20 yrs, I am returning to bow hunting and in the market for a new bow. So much has changed within this industry, it's a bit overwhelming. Does anyone have any opinions on what to look at vs. what to avoid... and why? Also, fastest bows, quality bows, etc.. Any help would be great.
