  1. i did google it before i asked the question on the forum, but none of the stuff worked hence the thread. eventually i did try washing with apple cider vinegar and it worked pretty good. after all the different washes with all the different stuff though i m just gonna use the jacket for casual wear though not sure i want to chance it in the field
  2. wrote scent lok but they didnt respond. oh well good thing cabelas had scent blocker on sale this week : )
  3. So like an idiot after my last hunt i accidentally left my scent lok savanna jacket in the storage bag of my atv for a week where i keep a small spare gas can in there too. when i took the jacket out the jacket smelled like gas of course and now i dont know how to get out the gas smell. I looked on google for suggestions on getting gas smell out of clothes. I tried washing it with carbon clothes detergent, soaking it coke and washing it and then i tried washing it with regular laundry detergent and white vinegar, it helped somewhat but u can still smell it a little bit. Probably because its a carbon clothing. Didnt run it through the dryer yet to activate it as i dont want to activate it until i cant smell anymore gas. ANy suggestions? Or I'm guessing im screwed I dont want to chance wearing it in the field only thing i might bring in would be an arab not a deer lol
