car wrecks are a terrible thing the important thing is your still here. God bless
-
be as cautious as possible I've know to many people hurt in crashes a kid I played football with is paralyzed due to an accident and my grandfather was killed before I ever met him.

In 2 days I lost 4 people. Sunday my teacher (33 years old) and Monday 3 graduates of my high school (24,23,19 years old) all died in car crashs. Sometimes hunting isn't everything be thankful for what you have it could be gone in a blink of an eye. Stay safe every one!

My biggest issue is I want something that flies well. Fixed blades are not working well with my bow. I have used rage in the past however I got sick of them popping open when they shouldn't an I did shoot 2 deer I never found which was probably my fault.
-
I'm thinking about switching to the G5 T3 expandable broad head. I'm using the **** razors fixed blades but they don't fly real well. What do you guys think about this broadhead?
-
I think I've been heating them up too long and they are shrinking to much and when the arrow has impact it simply causes it to crack. I'm using a fall away rest I shied away from the WB. After shooting to long with it the "whiskers" wear down and cause flight problems. I'll try all the tips you guys have mentioned. They're all very helpful to me because I wanna open up my own bow shop someday! Thanks guys it's greatly appreciated!

I like fletching my own arrows but for some reason i apparently can't do it correctly. They're constantly coming off so I decided to start using quick fletch vanes (the ones you put in boiling water) and nearly every time I shoot they crack and come off. Can someone please let me know what I'm doing wrong? Any tips are appreciated.

Crazy things happen while bow hunting!! me and my buddy were at a 3D shoot one time and we drew back and released the arrow at the same time. Now here's the weird part! Some how In mid-air the arrows slammed together and sent sparks flying but some how we both ended up hitting the target! -

If my math is correct we now have 73 points! Only 4 points behind he leading team which means we need a doe kill to gain the lead. Great job team keep up the good work. I'm glad I was finally able to help put up some points! -

Youth season has started in Ohio. I'm goin with my muzzleloader! -
Well it's time for y last youth gun season and the rut has just started! I can't wait I've saw a few good ones I just couldn't get with bow so I'm goin after them with my muzzleloader!

Stupid I seen this a month or so ago. He had an arrow that was to short for his draw length. Stupid people suffer!
-
Is anyone having the same problem as me? I haven't seen nearly the amount of deer as usual i don't if it's because of pre rut or what but I'm getting very frustrated with it!
-
My opinion not every doe that snorts needs shot. A deer snorting doesn't always mean your the reason, they can be alerted by plenty of things. However if I know she's alerted by me and I have no problem taking her I will do it for the reason of not wanting deer to be nervous around stand sites because 1 deer out smarted me.

I've noticed the bucks where I live (eastern Ohio) Have been getting out of their groups and are in transition to start the pre rut. I did see a small 4 pt chasing around some young does. -
Yeah he's defiantly On the hit list. The deer are changeing patterns now so were gonna have to see what his next move is going to be.
-
After hitting a deer last bight and bot finding her I replayed the shot and I believe I hit the back straps. She should be fine. I went back out tonight and slammed a doe she ran about 40 yds and was done. I had to redeem myself.
-
Well last night I drew back for the first time this year an hit a doe. Not finding as much blood as I would had hoped for I backed out. I'm getting ready to go out and look for this big girl! Good luck this morning everyone.
